Pinched Nerve

I've been home, not able to work, for almost 6 weeks with a pinched femoral nerve in my leg. Had epidural, cortizone shot in hip and finally physical therapy. Therapy has helped me the most and am now able to walk without pain. It's been a long haul but am finally on the mend. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what was the best remedy to ease the pain?
