Let's say that you meet and fall in love with a very rich person. He/she wants to marry you but they insist that you sign a prenuptial agreement, Would you?If I were the marrying kind, I would as long as the sum agreed upon was large enough. The sum has to be a sum that is larege enough for me to say, Wow and small enough that his family fortune isn't in jeopardy.

No i won't. it's as if they are eyeing you to bag their millions since you marry their son. I hate it when people, especially rich people do this kind. I mean, if i have the rich guy, i don't care about his money. They could go to hell along with their sum. What is important is i have a happy marriage with our own money, not their family's money. Duh!!

That would work if your guy is independently wealthy, but if he isn't, it maybe a little tricky but not impossible.

No, I wouldn't. Relationships are about trust and honesty. In my opinion, asking for a prenuptial agreement shows that you don't trust the person you are with. It has nothing to do with money and whether the sum is "large enough for me to say, Wow", it just has to do with trust. If you don't have trust in your relationship, then the relationship won't last and shouldn't even exist to begin with.

Maybe that is the reason I'm not the marrying type.

Yes i would. i think that i would go with a person because i love him and it does not matter if he is rich or poor. But if i fall in love with someone that has money and demends that i'll sign, i will. I am sure that person wants to make sure that i am not being with him because of the money but because i love him. So yes. I would sign it. :)

I will not marry because the man is so rich. So a pre-nuptial agreement will do. Just to prove to him that it is not his money I am after to but because i love him and i want to spend the rest of my life with him. I will not waste my time arguing that my only interest is his material possession, right at the very start I will put an end on it by signing willingly to a pre=nuptial agreement.
