Whew, the world is really moving fast. I read in the newspapers that a couple were living in two different states due to work and had moved out of their marriage. They could not get leave to attend court here in India and would be very costly, so they gave their power of attorney to their families. The judge vdo conferenced the couple who agreed to an amicable divorce, and phew, the marriage was dissolved. That was pretty fast and smart. This was amicable, but divorce is pretty hard on kids, what say ?

Wow, getting divorced over a webcam. This is the first time I've heard of that. Poor kids though. I hope they get to be alright eventually. Here's a website for people that would be in need of legal assistance if you're about to go through a divorce: bidsfromlawyers.com. You can post your case for lawyers registered on the site to review.

This is weired world-the Institution of marriage has indeed suffered a true case of cyber desecration-how could this happen so effortlessly, to divorce and sign all papers on the internet? This must be the first of its very kind! I can find my spouse on the net, but I would not divorce her on the net, that is too much!

Wow! I've never heard of such a thing before... it's kind of scary, but comforting in a way. At least it didn't get nasty in court!
