How much sleep do you get per night?

They say sleep is a very important part of keeping healthy. Many experts say 7-8 hours sleep is the best for your health and that you should sleep around the same times each night. How much sleep do you get per night? Do you go to bed at the same time each night? Do you think you get enough sleep/too much sleep? I tend to get between 6-9 hours per night but usually around 8 hours. I sleep at different times at each night due to my lifestyle. I feel 9 hours sleep is too much and that 6 hours sleep is too little. 7 Hours works best for me.

I sleep for at least seven to eight hours a day. Sometimes, if I have an overnight work, I used to sleep around six hours only. It is really hard if you lack sleep at night. Enough sleep is important in our body. This will give us enough energy for the following day. Have a nice day and God speed!

I sleep seven to eight hours a night. This amount of sleep is just right for me. I guess I am average. I wish I would go to bed earlier. I used to be an early bird but no more. I spend too much time evenings at my computer and go to bed too late... Happy mylotting!

Your timings are good for you are and I think 7 hrs is not bad. I also agree that sleep of 8 hrs keeps us quite fresh and strong. But it does not seem to be possible for everyone to sleep for 8 hrs. Reasons could be lot. I, personally, do not sleep more than 5-6 hrs and I think that is not bad. What is your idea?

i tend to sleep for around 5-6 hours a day.. i would love to sleep for a couple of more hours at least but it's just not possible with the busy schedule...

yes,it is very important for keeping healthy .I tend to get 7-8 hours per night.at noon I usually have a short-time sleep.I think childern and old person need to have much sleep.

I get about 8 hour for my sleep.If it not enough,i will feel tired and if more than 8 hour,i will feel migrain.

I get about 8 hours of sleep per night, but sometimes I like to sleep longer. I just don't want to get out of bed in the mornings.

I think every person has their own requirement for sleep. I just love sleeping. During week days I just sleep 6 hours. Because of classes and all the stuffs inckluding assignments don't let me go to bed before 12 and in the morning I have to get up at 6;30. So that I can reach my college at 8. It's pretty boring. But during weekends I sleep to the fullest.

i have a really hard time falling asleep at night. i will toss and turn for a minimum of 1 hour. add that onto the fact that i dont usually get done with what i do online until around 3am ..means i generally fall asleep around 5am or so. lol.. so all in all i usually get about 5 hours a night. IF i am lucky i get to take about a 20 minute nap in the afternoon though! lol
