I don't have such a wonderful backup plan for family photos that are taken with a digital. Have a few pics on cd's and had a few made at a local store. Is it best recommended to put all pics on a cd just in case the computer crashes and all are lost?

I take alot of family pics with my digi camera and I do a complete backup of my pc every 4 months. My discs (including the family pics that I have scanned into the pc and the ones I have taken) all go into my fire safe. That way even if my pc blows up...I still have everything. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Thanks. Another good idea. Guess I can put all photos on cd's and remove from computer. I was told, by an employee of a camera store, that cd's with photos will never scratch or get ruined. WHat if a drink is spilled on the cd?
