time square is the very famous area in new york city, america. i have never travel to america but i visit time square place on my tv many times. ohh man what a lovely place and i love to be there
i want to konw from the amricans that why this place is so so famous in all new york or even in the whole world. and please also write the history of is that place is fr business purpose or shopping, and from other friends if they have visit tell me their experiance

I hope you get to New York City, it is one of the most spectacular cities in the world. There is so much to see and do when you are there. I don't know why there is such a fascination with Times Square. They recently cleaned the area up and now it is full of restaurants and shops, and even some TV networks broadcast from there. Of course, it is where they ring in the New Year in the US. It's pretty centrally located in downtown Manhattan, but there are lots of other areas of NYC that I like better myself. I guess with all the billboards and flashing displays, it makes for good movie and TV scenes.
