How do you keep a fever down?

Due to the change of weather and the frequent rain people around me have been getting sick. Terrible cough and high fevers. What's the best remedy?

It usually comes along with very high temperatures and the high temperature are the most dangerous-the best first stepis to cut down the temperature by socking up a towel in cold water and wipping up the patients body
