It wont stop ringing.

i wont like much on talking telephone i would like to talk directly every time

We just got our phone number changed to a private number. We are also on the DO NOT CALL list. Look inside your phone book for the number for the ''do not call'' number. It should help stop some of the calls. Another way is to use your caller ID AFTER they call your... You call them back and tell them you want to be taken off their list and all further/future lists. The lady at the phone company told me this... Try it.

no fortunately it doesn't if it did i would have certainly gone nuts till now!lol but i feel like unplugging it on weekends when my father is at home and there are just plenty of people calling him for different sort of matters. and i feel really frustrated when i am waiting for soemone's call and had to attend different people's calls instead! it's really irritating!!

Just about the only people who call the house phone here are bill collectors looking for my stepdaughter. I tried to tell them that she is not here but they dont listen. There is one that calls several times a week. I have to laugh at that one because they end the call by saying that "this is a professional debt collector. Thank you. Have a nice day." I dont get a lot of other calls because we are on the Do Not Call list.

My phone rings all day and it is usually stupid telemarketers or someone I dont want to talk to ,LOL

Actually my phone doesn't ring at all or rarely... So when it does ring I jump, thinking to myself what's that.... The joys of the no call list. And an Attorney General who has fined many companies who ignore the list....

Some days the phone rings all day and I can't get any work done. I keep answering the phone all day long and it's mostly for my husband who has a cell phone! Why do they keep trying the phone at home? It drives me crazy (especially with a baby at +home). Now I keep it off the hook when I really need some peace. I tried unplugging it once and a neighbour turned up at my door to check if everything was alright coz I wasn't answering the phone..lol and she stayed for another hour!

haha...yes unfortunately true m many time all of them call u- even the ones u dnt expect to have make u a call at that pt of tiime......but the person u r waiting for doesnt call..... well also sometimes the fone keeps on ringing continuously that i keep like switching off the fone(i mean unplugging it from the jack)....well but thats life,sumtimes u dnt get what u want.....

Many of times- Alot of times I won't even answer it- I let the answering machine get it- Screen calls- Drives me crazy! thank heavens for caller ID. At work there are days when my phone rings way too much that I can't get anything done! I'ce put it on Do Not Disturb mora than once a week- Gotta love voice mail!
