Umm...Adding image background to my profile?

I have seen a few people with images as their profile backgrounds, and I really want to have an image as a background, but I don't know how? Can anyone help me?

I can do it on almost every site I'm on except this one. I don't know what the problem is since I see so many other people do it. I hope you get some good answers so I can benefit from them too. Good luck!!
