Well is the begining of October and the Christmas cards are already in the shops here, for overseas posting I guess. But how soon do you start planning Christmas? Are you well organised or is it last minute panic?

Well probably like a lot of people, I plan to start my Christmas shopping early this year. lol However, that never happens. Although I don't wait til the last minute. I usually start shopping after Thanksgiving. And actually I guess I'm keeping up with my own traditions, I decorate with fall decorations at the end of September, I put out the few Halloween decorations I have first of October, and usually the day after Thanksgiving I start getting into the spirit of the season, playing Christmas music, movies, etc., and getting my decorating done, which puts me in the mood for Christmas shopping. Unlike my boyfriend who will Christmas shopping Dec 23rd! lol

Hey pa, since moving up there have you rearranged your living room after having the Christmas tree up and have to move the tree also? I will never forget that time I called you (or you called me) and you were moving your tree from one part of the living room to another. I sure miss our good and fun times we used to share, so many laughs. hahahaha

the past couple of years ive managed to get my xmas shopping done by the first week of December. this year ive already ordered one gift i intend to give my 12yr old. it was purely by chance though. i was skimming thru amazon.com and saw a video game that she was talking about a month or two ago. the best part? i got it for an unbelievable price!! LOL so i am super happy about it and hoping i can hide the box when its delivered before she sees it~!

I shop asap. I sometimes even start my shopping right after Christmas for the next year. As soon as I can get it all done, the better.

I usually start in July. (No joke) I find out what people want or I just happen to hear someone say I would really like that. I seem to hit some pretty good sales then too. (Just lucky I think) I am usually done by thanksgiving, unless I am looking for something seasonal that I haven't found yet.

I try to start is as early as i can, around about this time of year i start looking for ideas though whether i actually go ahead and buy something depends on whether i can afford to yet or not as it takes a bit of saving! I should get it done well in time for Christmas though, no later than a couple of weeks before.

I had already my list. I shop early for christmas. I don't want to rush to buy on Christmas Day.

Hello missbdoll. :) For Christmas decors, I buy them at the start of November. For gifts, I shop around late November. However, it's always the same case every year. No matter how prepared I am with my Christmas list and all, I'm still caught in the last-minute or holiday rush. There's always a couple of gifts that I had to go to the mall for on Christmas day. But that's fine with me, I'm very happy during these seasons. In my country, its a big celebration. Just hearing the Christmas carols as early as October here, I already become excited and look forward for Christmas. Advance Merry Christmas to you. Am I the first one to give you that greeting for this year? Take care :)
