many people try to seek help from people who can interpret dreams but i am wondering how many of you out there can interpret your own dreams or interpret the dreams of other people? do you think recurring dreams are considered signs or omens?

My friend interprets her dreams all the time. I personally feel it's pointless because most of the time my dreams don't have items in the book and you're supposed to pick them apart and interpret each piece and they always mean similar things and I don't know...it's just not my thing. I do have recurring dreams better never identical. Then later I have deja vu and I completely believe it was my dream. I do believe in that.

items in the book? are you referring to a dream dictionary? i dont really believe in those much, i take a look at the whole story of the dream first before deciding what that object in the dream really means because dream dictionaries are too vague _

well yeah. That's how most people interpret dreams. They use books and such. So that's what I meant by book. I don't believe it either cause I just think it's weird.

I have been doing Dream analysis/interpretation for a good few yrs now..I do my own and help others in figuring out theirs...I always tell ppl that recurring dreams ARE very important..its our Subconsciences way of getting us to pay attention..Same with nightmares..Nightmares, though scary in many ways to varying degrees depending on the person, are extremely important and should always be paid attention to...Granted SOMETIMES recurring dreams and/or nightmares could be the result of something that is happening in ones life, some sort of stressful thing or truama etc but if there is nothing goin on in the dreamers life at that time then there is a message that needs to be paid attention to..

I'm not trained in dream interpretation, but I am nonetheless fairly good at it. I've taken a lot of psychology classes & they help. Yes, I think that recurring dreams can be signs or omens... or they can reveal people's greatest fears or desires, too.

I usually can, but donĀ“t do it very often. At least not for other people. I believe that most dreams are just a focus on what you have done or been doing. Away for your brain to relate to all the things happening in your life. Does not have to mean anything else. Some dreams are more intense. Those kind can be a warning. In my experience it was because I was neglecting myself. Learning to look after yourself saves you from having bad dreams. And bad dreams are not signs of omens, unless you let them be.Take Care.
