Last night I watched the Celestine Prophecy movie again and loved it. In the last year, I did re-read the books and each time I have some kind of a different insight, and it's like I understand everything yet in a more profound way, and more deeply. Have you read the books, and seen the movie? Were you touched, and did it help you to start watching around you with eyes that see more? And how far are you now? How many insights have you mastered? I completed 8 of them, and haven't as yet been able to do the 9th, and the 10th,and further. TheFortunes

This book is very memorable for me. I had a neighbour who was into esoteric stuff and he knew about an experience I had about beings which we normally would call "angels". It was in 2001 when he told me to read The Celestine Prophecy. I asked if he has the book, he said a friend borrowed it for the mean time. He told me not to be too analytical and that I should listen to my intuition. He knew I was special in that kind of way, but he wouldn't tell me what else the book was about. He and his family moved to Canada after a few years and after that conversation about that book, I never heard from him again. I searched for the book in local bookstores since 2001 until 2008 but they always run out of stock. It seemed no matter how hard I try to find that book it seemed elusive. I was in Malaysia when I finally got a copy of the book, it was 2009. It's funny how I only got to read it 8 years after it was recommended to me and after searching it for that long. Maybe in 2001 I wasn't yet meant to read the book as surely reading it much later in 2009 would make a big difference when I was already open to the meaning and implication of its story.

I did read the book, but haven't seen the movie. It was a couple of years ago when I read the book and I can't for the life of me remember much of it. I remember something about a peace garden. My memory sucks! LOL! Obviously I didn't gain much insight. I don't usually read books twice as I have so many to read. That one I had borrowed from the library. I remember loving the book, though. I probably should have taken notes to keep on hand to refer to so I could remember and master the insights. I could probably use that about now. But, I can read all the inspirational books I want and it still doesn't make a difference as to how I live my life or how life affects me (or how I LET it affect me). I am just overwhelmed with too many negatives in my life. No book is going to help change my circumstances. But I do recommend The Celestine Prophecy as a book to read. I liked it enough to also read "The Celestine Vision" and "The Tenth Insight".
