Hearing a Word Many Times?
October 10, 2007 11:24pm CST
Something dawned upon me as I was watching TV earlier: I had heard the same word several times today. What is unusual about this is that it is not a word that is used in general conversation. I don't know how this happens, but it does occasionally. It will come into my mind that I have heard one word several times in the run of a day. I once had this happen and later that night I was doing the word power quiz in Reader's Digest when this was one of the chosen words. It's a weird feeling. Has this ever happened to you?

i am pretty sure that you are trying to tell yourself something, LOL. what i mean is that your subconscious is choosing to notice these specific words for some reason. we all hear thousands of words a day, but how many of them do we actually LISTEN to?? you are subconsciously for some reason NOTICING these words. kind of like when you are a pregnant woman you notice all the other pregnant woman and it seems like everyone else is pregnant the same time as you. or if you buy a new car then all of a sudden notice that a lot of others have the same car and you didn't notice it before you bought the car. it would be because you had 'baby on the brain' or 'new car on the brain' meaning that you are thinking about a new car or new baby. when our brains are thinking about things alot we start to notice effects out in the world and fail to realize that the cause is not out there in the world its in here in our mind. we really are manifesting our life everyday by the things that we think over and over. try to develop your intuition and go with your gut about what these words mean. we are all connected to the same source and all have the ability to use it to our advantage. if you are curious to change things that are happening in your reality start by noticing the patterns and trusting your gut about what it means for you. in the end, its what it means to YOU that matters. you are on the right path, because you are seeking knowledge and truth. "seek and ye shall find" and "the truth shall set you free" are some quotes that come to mind. okay well i hope this long answer helped and didn't confuse you further, hahaha. best of luck and take care. sincerely, ~julie phineas

I find a lot of truth in your response, lifechanges. It just always makes me wonder when these words stand out compared to the thousands I hear in a day. Sometimes I will even look them up to see if they hold a deeper meaning than I had previously thought.
