Would you rather donate blood regularly or save the donation for an urgent need?

There is always an urgent need. Someone, somewhere always needs blood. If you wait until you think that there is a need for it, it may be too late for the guy laying on the table that needs your blood type.

Wouldn't it be a factor for you if you could save your blood donation for someone that is close to your heart?

We have enough blood that it would be possible to donate regularly and yet still have enough to give more without too ill an effect in an emergency.
