I think it does, just like staring at a computer can affect your eyes. You need to take a break so you can rest your eyes.

Yes, it certanly does. If you watch tv for 6 hour a day you'll gradually start to feel that your eyes are more dry and red. It can have a bad influence on your sight, too. So nobody should overdoing it by watching tv or using computer too much.

Yes,continious watching of TV effect our eyes.Computer and television consist of CRT cathde ray tube which produces electo magnetic radiation effects our eyes.Because of this every one switching back to LCD screen.

Well, I don't know for sure, but I've heard things along those lines. One is that television sets give of low level radiation, and can affect your eyes if you sit too close. I don't know that I believe that, but I always make sure my son sits a certain distance away, lol! Also, I always have a light on while watching telly, apparently that helps lower the harm done to the eyes. Whether any of the ideas are true, I don't really know for sure, sorry I couldn't help!
