A JUDGE blocks a step towards stopping employment of illegals? This amazes me, have you any idea why he would do this?
Federal judge blocks administration's plan to crack down on hiring illegals
A federal judge has blocked a proposed rule requiring employers to fire workers whose names don’t match their Social Security numbers, dealing a major blow to the Bush administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.
Under the rule, businesses with employees whose names and Social Security numbers didn’t match would have three months to correct the mistakes or fire the employees. If not, they could face government prosecution.

I really think that if they started handing out heavy fines for companies that hire them then the companies wouldn't hire them anymore. There has already been some articles about the illegals heading to Canada b/c the laws are getting tougher here in the States.

I can't imagine why the Judge would block this law? Maybe he was concerned that too many illegals would become dependant on charity!

That tells you they really don't want to stop it, they are just feeding us a line of crap. The only things they want to inforce, is things that will bring them more money.

I dont see where it would cost the businesses andy money to fire any one for there are plenty of people at temp servicecs to take over and if SS# dont match name the SS can see what name it was first issued too and they onther person gets the sack I now poeple make up nos that has to be some ones who has had it for years. ANd what is the judge doing has he been bought off?

This is being done because at the same time Americans want the illegal immigration problems eliminated groups like the ACLU and lobbyists for the illegals are pushing for rights for them.
There is also the issue of the plans to combine Canada, the US, and Mexico into the NAU and open the borders along with issuing new currency.
I would imagine that this judge favors these things, but that is just my opinion.
I have noticed that every time a community comes up with a way to combat the immigration problem that some federal judge manages to block it.
This cannot be a coincidence.
