Do you still reply to a posted discussion...

Actually, when I make a response I don't care about best response. I usually consider the lenght of the post, and other stuff that can increase my earnings, but what am I going to earn if I my response is selected as the best one? Nothing. That's why I always reply to a discussion that I like, even if the author has already chosen the best response.

Yes thats true sometimes I also do not even read that discussions in which the best response is already being marked..!! But If I find a real good discussions then I just don't care about the best response thing..!! I right away give my response to that. In some cases here in mylot I don't really care about getting chosen as the best response or the cents I get.... the thing that matters is to share my views with other people..!! SOmetimes I do find such discussions where I just can't stop myself from giving my view to them so I don't care about the best response thing. Sharing your view with different people in this world is way more important to me here in mylot. I value it lot. :)

Like a lot of those who responded to this discussion, I too would still respond to a discussion if it's interesting to me. Also, I wouldn't mind in saying what I have in mind even if it's similar to what others already said since it will add to how strong a majority's opinion is on the topic. It's great though to get a BR, knowing that someone appreciates your thoughts and sentiments.

It seems that the majority always wins, but I would rather go against the flow and stand on what I believe in!;) My answer is NO, I don't respond anymore when the topic has already been resolved. I'd rather look for other topics that is similar with that post, than waste my effort in repeating what alreadt has been said many times. I always go for competition, it's better to put our best effort on things we know is worth it.

I usually respond anyway, as long as it's something I'm really interested in or I have a good story for the discussion. I do tend to not post a discussion if I see a similar one has already been done. That's hard to avoid though. But yeah, it doesn't bother me if a BR has already been given.:)

Of course, it doesn't matter to me if they have chosen a best response, that's not really the reason why I respond to them anyway, it's more to give my two cents on whatever they are asking for.

Yes, I will still respond to a discussion even if they have already chosen a best response. I am doing it to share my opinion and to make a little bit of money. I figure I still get paid by mylot for it and someone else might feel the same way as I do and would like to know that they are not alone. I am not in this for earning best response although it is nice to get that on a post.

Hi carol_m, what actually drives me to respond to a certain discussion here is my interest on the subject matter or the topic being posted, and not necessarily on the owner or poster of the discussion, whether he/she is in my friend's list or not, or whether the owner has chosen already the best response or not. I think no one could hinder me from sharing what I know about the topic. We are given the privilege here in mylot to express anything we want to say provided our comments won't discriminate anyone.

hi carol. Actually,most discussions that I have responded to already has a best response. There are times that I don't even notice that the poster have already chosen one. I'm more focused on the content of the discussion and if I really like it, I just have to respond to it even if there's no more chance for me to be chosen.

I still give my best shot to discussions if I can. I now get in the habit of recording those threads on a word document or wordpad for future reference. Its great to have a list of responses that are quality just in case you aren't BR or just in case someone gives you flak about the star rating.

hi carol_m, When I find a discussion that I am interested in posting on, I read through the entries and rate them as I read. Then I will respond to the discussion. If it is a new discussion, and the best response is already picked, I might feel a little disappointment, but I will still post my response. Just because the best response has been picked, does not mean that you can not put in your two cents as well. As long as you can contribute to the discussion, that is what we should be doing. It makes for a better discussion to have more opinions or different views on a discussion. Happy posting..

It doesn't matter to me if the author of the topic already chosen best response. What matter most to me is to be able to share my idea regarding the topic - and earn from doing so. I know, being chosen as best response also gives weight to our rating and affects our earnings. But we can not always have the best response mark. So, what i did is never target it anymore but just response to the topics i like and enjoy. Earning is just a bonus.

yea, i would say that i do. because some times just because the best response has been chosen doesn't mean there isn't a better response :) also i think that posting again can bring up different ideas that had not been previously considered or brought up. but thats just my opinion.

No, I don't work that way.. I think if the discussions suits my interest, I feel shud write something over there.. I never look at the discussions in the perspective whether the owner of that discussion has already choosen the best respondent...

I never take a look if a best response have been choosen or not. When I answer a topic, I never do it thinking I want to get a best response. Of course I'M happy whe someone select my response to his discussion, but it's not something important for me.

I still respond in posted discussion that already have best response. I don't even look that this discussion have best response yet or not. I just look at discussion that I want to read, and response in my way. Even though, some of my posted response have same meanings with other. But hey, that's my thought too. I just want to write down anything that come out from my head once i finish read the discussion. It's fun that way. Best response and earn money just become a bonus and trivia for me.

Well I do sometimes respond to a Discussion which already had a Best Response marked ;in case I feel it to be very Interesting .
