Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God? If not, then what? If yes, why do you believe this? Do you believe the Bible is equal to the Qur'an? If so, why? If not, why?

I believe in God and the Holy Bible is the word of God and it is the truth. The Holy Bible has no equal at all. It is complete and it answers all questions that a human being may want to know. God did not neglect the humankind and does not lack in giving them the information they need and everything.

I have no attachment to the God of the Bible. I don't know that deity, he doesn't speak to me, I don't see him, I don't feel his presence. So the Bible doesn't have a lot of real meaning for me. There are specific verses I might find interesting in one way or another, but whether it is the world of a God that I don't follow doesn't really matter to me. I suppose you could say it would be equal to any other "holy book" dealing with deities I don't follow for me. It's not that I have anything against the Bible, or Christians, or the God of the Bible for that matter. I just have no real experience with that God. I've read the Bible, and it hasn't changed my life. I already have Gods, I was already devoted to them at a young age, and that devotion hasn't changed. So while the Bible is interesting to me historically or in terms of learning about other people's beliefs, it doesn't have spiritual meaning for me.

I'm not a Christian or affiliated with any religion so I do believe all texts that are held sacred by various people are equal. Of the Christian bible I do agree with sayings like "Those who live by the sword shall die by the sword." I would like to "Love my enemies ..." (better I don't have any) and "bless those who persecute me" would be a high standard indeed for me to keep. A few years ago I was regularly reading buddhist works, mainly Mahayana branches and Zen, but they are not anything I want to commit to formally either. But a lot of the things I can relate to more than others that say some deity is going to spend a lot of energy tormenting me eternally just because I didn't believe in this or that prophet.

im a christian and of course automatically i believe in the bible. yes i believe the bible is the word of god. given to us us a constant guide and reminder that god is existing even we cannot see him. the word of god is all what we need to live a good life and a devoted christian. compared to quran? they are the same in some aspects and i dont know about it but importantly they both teach to be a good human being and do not inflict evil to ther humans because this will often god himself.that's my opinion.

yes I believe in the uniqueness and authenticity the Bible is claiming for itself. I do believe that it is the word of God necessary for correction, for encouragement, for growth. believing in the Bible is a question of faith. I believe of its authenticity because of the number of years that it has preserved itself and indeed the teachings that the Bible is saying is true and practical. I do have any comment regarding the Qur'an. that is their faith. what are your beliefs? do you believe in the Bible too?
