I having been asking people that question for a couple of weeks now and you would be very suprised that most people don't know what they really want. What is even more suprising, they are shocked and even mad that they don't have it. So my question to you is, what do you really want? Can you make a list of 10 things you want from life?

Yes it is quite simple for me. 1) health for my boys 2) happiness for my boys 3) success in whatever my boys choose to do 4) love always in my family (boys & hubby) 5) live long enough to see the boys prosper, marry have children and be set in life 6) enough money to be able to provide everything my boys need 7) to be able to raise my boys to be responsible, caring, loving men 8) protect my boys from any harm 9) make sure my boys know how much they are loved 10) hopefully leave my boys with only good memories of me, and love filled in their hearts

I want those things for my three children too. What i am asking is what do want for you. that doesn't have anything to do with your children.

That is what I want for me. Ever since I can remember, I always wanted to be a mommy. My life revolves around them. Those are the things I want for myself, because they are everything to me.

Good question and like you said, many people, including myself do not know what we want from life. We do not set a life direction, and where we want to head to. Most of us take life one day at a time, set in our comfort zone, with good education and comfortable jobs. This is not good, I'm guilty of it and should really do something about it! Thanks for your timely reminder!

I do not find this to be a difficult question at all... 1. my family to be safe and healthy 2. the continued love and support from my family and friends 3. my home to remain a source of happiness for all of us 4. enough finances to cover the bills and life but do not have aspirations of extreme wealth...LOL 5. increased spirituality through study and practice 6. personal health..do not want to become a burden to my family...a quick passing when time comes 7. personal growth and the ability to share that with my family and friends 8. happiness for my children and grandchildren in whatever they decide to persuit in life 9. to be buried next to my husband 10. would enjoy reading the paper or listening to the news that was of something good instead of all of the negative that this world is full of....some daily joys... My list is really quite simple and I did spend quite some time thinking about the things that are truly important to me.... Hope that you are doing well, my friend....

i love the thing about the news. that is why i don't read the paper or watch the news any longer. they don't tell you any good news. and i am looking for good news that is why i am going to start a womans club in my area and we are going to make our own good news

Well, I wanted to fulfill my dreams. I wanted to become nurse. I also wanted to become rich so I wanted to have my own business someday. I wanted to have a mansion and lots of car. I know it's too much but we only live once so I wanted to enjoy the things that I was deprived of before.

Actually I am one of those person that really doesn't know what I want in life. I see to be happy and contented and I am quite sure there is something that will really make me happy about my situation. It is funny that I don't really know what i want. But right now I will be engaging myself in a 70day coaching seminar. It is more about goal setting.

No, I am not able to do that. I do not want to set myself up to be outside of the will of God. So, I will say that I want the will of God to be done in every area of my life.

What do I want from life?1. Peace of mind, a feeling of contentment and safety. 2. Better health for myself, hubby and the rest of the family. 3. To lose weight again, about 60 lbs., and to keep the weight off this time. 4. To see my youngest brother happy and content with or without the marriage he is in. 5. To be financially secure enough to spend less time working and more time with my family and friends. (But not filthy rich, I don't want that hassle.) This would include being able to travel well when I am in my later years and visit each relative as they are able to have me. 6. My husband to be able to quit smoking willingly and without much trouble. 7. To witness my youngest daughter give birth to her first child. 8. To be able to help others more with charity work and donations. 9. Return to school and major in Art. 10. To own my own successful business and be able to pass it on to my children or grandchildren.

My husband and I want a house, currently we rent. We are working on paying off some debt. We want a good life, that allows us to do some travelling, enjoy life, we love to cook and taste food from different countries. My husband works fulltime, I am currently a sahm, but do several things online to supplement our income and have recently applied for a parttime job at our local coffee shop - and I think I am getting the job. Healthy family House Travel Pay off debt I think thats about it. Thanks

Several of my discussions were about the whole Law Of Attraction principles...now I actually grew up on the ideas but never really applied them before so when The Secret phenomena came out, it reintroduced me to it....So what has this got to do with anything you might ask? All my life I've actually have always known what I've wanted....The Secret has helped me to make a "game" plan on going after what I want...might take awhile, but I've always known what I've wanted in life...the thing is, I did have a lot of bizarre detours and setbacks thrown in my path that kind of put a halt on a lot of my ideals in life Just the other night I made up, for instance, a new vision board..I actually have them all over the place..but this one, is right smack near my computer desk where I can look at it all the time I have images of things that do represent what I want in life, and they are: 1). To run my own on-line photo business and sell my work to prospective clients in the publishing industry as I had formerly done years ago 2). To be a success at it! 3). To overcome all negative obstacles in life, such as my panic disorder with agoraphobia, and have a REAL life again 4). Once done...to travel, travel, travel..all over the place, with camera in hand 5). To acquire my dream home 6). To be a best-selling author..(have had some short stories published already 7). To have all my creative endeavors recognized..uh...as in fame..LOL 8). To learn how to fly..uh, yes...I've always wanted to do that! 9). To never have to worry about paying bills...want a $100,000 a year or more lifestyle...hey I aim big 10). Overall, just to have the rich and rewarding life I've always dreamed of. Yes it might all sound very dreamlike here...but I've also written down game/goal plans on HOW to achieve this ideals of mine in life...so yes, there are strategic plans involved that I've mapped out on how to go about it --

34momma...where's your list of 10 things you want from life? I'll see if I can do it... 1. think positively most of the time 2. develop a much better relationship with God 3. develop a better relationship with my husband and sons 4. get a better handle on our budget 5. become wealthy, meaning, having enough money to live simply, and be able to give money away to proper sources 6. Be a better mom 7. have time to scrapbook or do other crafts every week 8. have time to read Well I'm drawing a blank, but for as late as it is I think that's pretty good. Can't wait to read your answers.

actually people want money..food and career from their lives.. if you have job..education and a wife it is really good it means that a lot is achieved. but still life remains frustratingly meaningless.. because whatever we do we are dying. so far..we just disappear and we lose your relatives and friends.. we suffer in this world...we have to find a different way to overcome all of these.

sure i want the 'typical' things of being comfortable financially, getting married, having a child, finding a career, and traveling; however, the most important thing i want from life is to be pain free. i no longer want to have chronic pain as it has taken away many of my dreams. the thought of having at least 24 hours without pain makes me delirious with joy.
