Abortion. Oy...

I'd like to propose a moratorium on the discussion of abortion. It seems like one can't go a day here without seeing a brand new discussion that reads "Are you for or against abortion?" Does anybody do searches before they start a discussion? If so, one could see that this topic has been done to death. Is there really anything new anybody could say about it? For every topic, there are the same defenders and the same condemners, and the same religious stances and it's wrong, or it's right, but only in certain cases and on and on. Until the next day, when someone starts the discussion again and it starts all over again with the same arguments. If anybody has anything new to say about the subject, I would dearly love to hear it. But starting a topic like this just because it's controversial and will get responses and thus drive up the amount you earn seems a little too contrived. Does anybody else feel the same?

i would have to agree with you all the way. even though i have had an abortion i am not for it or against it. i believe it could be best depending on the situation. some people are against it no matter what and all they do on here is repeat the same things over and over again. usually if i don't have something different to start a discussion about i just wait till i think of something rather then just the same one over and over.

Exactly. Once I've chimed in on a discussion, I don't really have much else to say about it. Getting into the same discussion to voice the same thoughts over and over again seems counter-productive. Every woman has her own reasons for what she does, and how other people feel about it really doesn't matter.

Yep, like how about really use your brain and not waste other people's time! It's not like there aren't a gazillion other things going on in the world to discuss.

Yes, thats true that theres a lot of discussion about abortion and I think like me, I have also a specific view against abortion. Abortion is an absolutely wrong and it is a crime of murder. And absolutely I am not favor for this. And I think the fetus have life and like us she/he have a right to see this wonderful world.

I totaly agree with you. When I was new I spend lots of times writhing on this issue only because it was always in todays top discussion and was the first thing that poped out. I dont any more because I have said what I wanted to say. People do open this issues over and over again because they do get lots of posts but I am over it.

life - 12 week foetus
Im new to the topic. I think there is nothing wrong in it and it is necessary to get unwanted pregnancies removed. There are valid reasons that require abortion for eg. a congenital defect detected, an accidental conception, any medical disease of the mother that can adversely affect the mother's or child's health and life etc. And the final decision and verdict is of the woman. And if the indication is valid then the doctor has to oblige. But nowadays abortion and the techniques are being misused and illegal abortions are on the rise. This is not a healthy practice and each abortion is a major procedure that has chances of ending fatally. So the woman has to be logical in taking the right decision and approaching the right doctors.

I agree...I know abortion is not for me and isn't something I would ever be able to do, but I strongly believe each woman has the right to make the choice for herself and no one should try to make the decision for her.

I don't think it's right. But it's up to that person who's pregnant to decide. I wouldn't personally
