Nowadays I see that euro currency is more competitive than US Dollar. And more dominate in business trades currency. Do you think that euro will change US Dollar as a main currency in the world ? I think if the US currency is always drop like right now, maybe there is a big chance for Euro being a main currency, as some countries are also try to trade prefer with euro than with US Dollar.

Personally I can't see the Euro replacing the dollar, in the UK there has been so much opposition against the Euro taking over from the pound. Although I think it would be easier if there was just one currency for the world I can't see it coming into affect, certainly not this millenium. I may be proved wrong but certainly for the foreseeable things will stay the same, unless their is a big turn around in the big powers.

I don't think so. As I still think USA is one of the important country in the world and it is advanced in many aspects. So it will be still the main currency in the world. The dropping of US dollar won't mean anything. Perhaps it is a currency policy, because sometimes being a weaker currency will have some benefits.

Well Euro is getting stronger and stronger, but think about the chinese business. In a couple of years there economy has grown and grown and they will grow till they have the biggest economy. Here in holland people start to talk about chinese language at school as a class. So it could be possible that the Yen will grow bigger than the Euro and dollars.

yes, gradually the euro is gaining grounds than the U.S dollar and recently the U.S dollar has fallen in value which resulted in an increase in crude oil price up to 90+ and fell back to 89+. even other currencies will surpass the U.S dollar as time goes on. the euro is already higher in value than the U.S dollar and since it's the major currency among europeans and other none europeans. it's the currency that's between the pound and the dollar, so many traders and businessmen use it as it's value is quite stable.
