Identity Theft in your family

If you were a victim of identity theft, and it was the result of a family member, What would you do? I ask, because this is happening to me. My mother got a utility bill out in my name and didn't pay it for a year. Would you throw a parent in jail for screwing up your credit and committing a federal offense?

If that happened to me, of course I would be angry but I won't throw my parents in jail. Maybe I will be angry at them for not getting my permission first.

Indeed this is a very Delicate Situation you are in i won't be able to tell you what would you do or what would i feel the only thing i can do is to give you my point of view i believe there isnt any pattern or law how a mother should be, in the end we are all humans but i would think for my future, i wouldnt wish her to be taking things from wallet even if she is my mother... plus she should be my roll model
