biodiesel production

Dear all, I intend to start a biodiesel production. It will of helpful, if anybody can produce some light on the followin: Cultivation of J.curcas plant; type of land required; duration of fetching the seeds from the plant; minimum investment required and its marketability.

The idea is the well and good I've posted similar topics on this in one in the Philippines group and what i got was negative responses. they were claiming that these are just hype and could affect the food production and the forest reserves of our country as it would mean clearing more lands for these plants to produce a reasonable amount of oil to be able to cope up with our current need for oil. Defend me on this matter respond on my post if you like.

Here in the Philippines I think there are also people who has started venturing into domesticating these plant as they discovered that these plants are doing good in our place. I just don't know how they are doing right now. I think this is a very promising plant as our soil is quite fertile and if we could make these plants grow in large scale I think we could also solve our country's dependence on oil.
