Could anyone suggest me some thriller & horror books?

To me, everything Dean Koontz is the best! He's got some awesome and highly imaginative books.. plus they have a good message.. When I first started reading him, I couldn't go to bed, but had to stay awake and keep reading! My all time favorites (and he has lots) is "Lightning" and "Twilight Eyes", with Twilight Eyes being more thriller.. His books are often a sort of supernatural thriller.. Next, I like Mary Higgins Clark.. her books are real page turners too.. And I like James Patterson.. but I like his 'winged children' books better than most of his murder thrillers.. although the "Alex Cross" (detective/FBI agent) ones are real good!

For horror books I recommend Clive Barkers "Books Of Blood" they are a series of books with collections of his shorter stories...If you like classic books check out some E.A Poe stories and H.P Lovecraft...Turn of the Screw by Henry James (also a classic) is a good one....Some Stephen King is good, I personally liked Desperation and the Cell (though the ending to that sucked)...Dean Koontz has some good stories....Heart Shaped Box is supposed to be good, I own it but havent had a chance to read it yet....

John Grisham's legal thrillers are great. If you like cats and you like mystery thriller, you'll love the Cat Who... series by Lilian Jackson Braun. I love these books. I hope this helps!

I thought It by Stephen King was really scary.. Also Carrie was scary for my when I was in high school.. But Im gonna be reading it again to see if it is still scary.. Since im not in high school any more:).. But I like Stephen King.. So that is who I suggest reading if you want any Thriller and Horror books.. Also the shinning was really good :)
