I can't wait for the day after Thanksgiving!! Black Friday here I come!!

This may sound completely stupid, but after many years of working and managing retail stores, this year we decided for me to stay home and be a stay at home mom and make more babies!! YEAH ME!
Anyways, as November creeps nearer I am getting SO EXCITED to go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. After 10 years (all my adult life) working this day from you know where! I finally get to be the shopper, racing in at 5 AM to get the gift that my son just may die without. Someone else gets to deal with the fights and the arguments. NOT ME!!! I get to shop, I get to wait outside in the cold!! Like I said, it may sound stupid, but I am EXCITED!!!

Like you, I have also worked in retail several years and that day is an absolute nightmare! I also shopped once on that day and I swore I would never do it again.There is nothing that I can imagine buying for my kids that I have to fight for in a store. I am happy for you that you are excited about going but I am glad that I don't have too.

Well this will be my only year to shop it becuase I am sure next year I will be back to work. So I am going to fight the crowds and get whatever deals I can find!!!

You do not sound stupid, I am one of those people who looks forward to that day to shop. I love the excitement. Last year, I did not have any money so I stayed home. This year my financies are low, but if I see any good deal I am going to go out and purchase it.

Believe it or not, I have never been shopping on Black Friday. I am thinking about joining in on the craziness this year though. I have not purchased a single Christmas gift yet and this year we could really use some good deals!

I don't think I would really care about shopping on Black Friday either except for the fact that I always had to work them. I actually have the whole morning planned. Even where we're going to breakfast!!! Can you say girls day out!?!?!?!

I like to get all of my shopping done before then so I don't have to fight any of the crowds or anything.
