My employer and I share the same birthday, except 1 year apart. I admit it, I am the older one. Well if that isn't coincidence enough for you..... Today a co-worker found an old newspaper rolled up in some old plat maps. The date is the date of my first birthday, the day my employer was born. WoW! It was fun going through that paper. It is not our town but a bigger city's paper. It was full of grocery store ad's and dept. store ad's. There was a small ad for a floor wax on all but 2 of the pages. The movie section was really neat to see too. No wonder I like Elvis so much, he was playing at the movie theater on my 1st birthday, geez.......... (swooning) Have any of you ever found anything this neat at work or else where?

Hi Tess1960. Well, I have a friend, we are sharing the same birthday but she is one day younger than me. Haha. That's really cool when I know that. So far, I never meet someone who have the same birthday with me and she is the only one sitting beside me last time and one day younger than me. I just can say that kind of feeling is really amazing. Haha.

HOw can she have the same birthday but be one day younger? Explain please, because my mind is not grasping this concept. My employer and I were both born same day of same month but 1 year apart. Are you a twin?

Hey friend, sorry about the typing mistake. In fact, I intend to type "we are not sharing the same birthday.."..I ate the "not" from the sentence. sorry for that ;p

OK, so now your comment makes more sence to me. Our minds can often think faster than the fingers and sometimes I think the other way around is true too. LOL

Well.. it wasn't at work, but when I got married, I moved into our first house together and in the closet was a really old bag with a bowling ball in it... the name on it was Beverly! My name!!! It was the perfect weight for me too! You could tell it had been there for years, it wasn't something that someone put there for me to find!

I have been cleaning out one of my client's homes and have come across some pretty neat stuff. Old magazines are great.

I love old magazines. I recently found old McCall's Craft magazines at a local Thrift Store. Issue 2, 3 and 4. I never did go back to hunt for Issue 1. I am going to make some of the items for my cubscouts to duplicate. They are dated 1969, 1970 and 1971. I had no dea what I had bought until I got home and started really looking at them.
