Leaves

Who gets to rake up all the leaves from the trees around your house this year? My grandchildren wanted to earn extra money, so they volunteered. Now that the leaves are down, no one has showed up to do it. I started raking some of them up today. It is a nice day out, so I got some worthwhile exercise in. The twins will be here on Friday. Let's see if they want to help me finish raking. So who's doing your raking?

At least you don't have to rake this year!! Have you planted any new trees yet? That will take a little while before you aould have to rake leaves again. I like having trees in my yard...

We just moved to a house a year ago this past June, it has two large trees. My boyfriend raked them last year, because I was too busy taking pictures and laughing at our dog! Everytime he would get some raked into a pile she would dive in, and then when he tried to rake she would attack the rack. However, I did bag them and set them out for pick-up

That sounds like so much fun!! So does that mean you get to rake leaves this year, while he takes the pictures?

Yeap that's the way it goes alright. Paydays are Fridays but not always do the young people of today show up for work. lol. Our leaves are few and far between because we don't have trees in our yard. Take Care my friend.

Actually, we're lucky we don't have to rake any leaves at our apartment. I don't mind raking leaves though. At our old house, we raked them up and used them to stuff our scarecrow LOL I do love the changing colors. !!HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Fortunately I live in an apartment so I don't have to deal with any of that. If I ever have my own place I wouldn't mind doing some of that myself...but if I've got the money I'd totally pay a few neighborhood kids to do it. Same with shoveling my walk and stuff :)

Paying neighbor hood kids to rake the leaves is a good idea. For me it is the grandkids. That way I get to watch them have fun!!
