Sweet is better for health providing no other solid food to be taken. Only with dietary intake sweet in little be taken instead of stuffy and solid food.

In my opinion, it depends. Some sugar are necessary, while some are for fun or one's taste. But I think we'd better have little unnecessary suger to keep us healthy.

I am recently discovering that sweet foods may be the source of a lot of illness. Before I knew any better I was trying to get healthy by eating low fat foods. I kept gaining weight, anyway. One doctor happened to mention that even if you eat 0 fat desserts you can still gain a lot of weight from sugar. Additionally, sugar fuels hunger. The more sugar I ate the hungrier I became. After slowly decreasing the amount of sugar I was eating,I began to lose weight. The best part was that I was able to control my cravings. I eventually lost over 20 pounds by cutting down the amount of sugar I was eating. I think as an average adult male about 5' 10" , I should not eat more than 40 - 80 grams of sugar in one day. Excessive sugar can also lead to diabetes.

Whether it's good for you is determined by yourself.Everything should be controlled. It's not good for your health to eat the sweet food neither too little nor too much.
