Its a great song. It contains a lot of truth in it. It not only has deep lyrics but a great rhythm as well. I love this song too as much as I love Green Day. I hope they release more songs.

I am so glad to hear other people enjoy this song as much as I do. The music industry gives voice and expression to many of my feelings. I find September to be a daunting month. The world's engine is running so powerfully and effortlessly when suddenly September comes around. September is so overloaded with activities, overscheduling, emotions, work, meetings, requirements, etc... This song helps me cope with how overwhelming September is. Every August when I smell September around the corner, I hear this song and I am especially comforted by the line "...wake me up when september ends..." Then October arrives and everything seems so much better.
