I know being a painter it's not so profitable, atleast not in my place, but it's one of the few things I really enjoy to do in life no matter how I'm feeling.

then you should continue to do it. I write and I know that I will never make any money off from it. I just really love to write and always have. Painting is the same. If you enjoy it , keep doing it. I really think that if you do any hobby with the intent on making money that it detracts from pleasure and the quality of your work. I used to make macrame jewlery because I loved tying knots. Then people noticed and began requesting some. I got so very tired of it that soon it wasn't fun. The quality of my work went down

So true.Macrame jewlery are very special and kinda hard to do , at least for me .My mom tried a lot of time to teach me simple things but I just can't get it or I understand for a moment and next second I can't remember a thing.

I like painting too but I know that I won't excel on it because I don't have a talent for it lol God Bless on your painting. I know you'll excel on that because it's what you want to do.

Aww thanks :P well painting isn't that hard compared to other jobs I think ,it's more like fun since you just have to play with colors, shadows, lights, lines and all :D It's not really about excelling because if you put your heart even to draw and paint two lines on a paper it's real art.Of course the knowledge you gain or have to have it's like an optional tool or something :P if you check up some paintings from modern art you'll think the painters had no talent but the passion for painting is the thing that turns them in artists.Everyone has imagination and if you know how to use it you can be everything :P You don't have to be negative when it comes about art because your points of view and ideas are always unique and that turns your work into art. P.S. : OK I might make no sense but I'm also a bit tired so if you don't get my point excuse me :)

What`s your major? Are you a student? I like painting too, but I don`t have enough time to study it for many years. Painting keeps me to calm down from the busy life and though many things from another perspective. I wish I can make some friends who like arts~~~~

:) Well almost a student.I'm in last year at The arts high school;ceramics is my major but for the future I'ma reorientate for classic painting because that's what I like more;it was a bit accidental starting to study ceramics and I couldn't change it but it's a nice experience especially because you feel your work, like touching, modeling it,is an interesting feeling :P
