traffic cone - traffic cone or safety cone is meant for temporarily redirect traffic in safety manner.
oh my gosh, what makes you hit that traffic safety cone, I guess for sure you were speeding at that time. I never rammed into that safety cone before. And always slowed down my car speed when spotted it existence. Actually that safety cone will not physically damage your car as it was made up of HDPE (Highly Density Polyethylene) where it can absorb high impact and reform into its original state. Safety Cone is to alert motorist for specific safety reason such as redirect traffic flow in safety manner.

yeah, I was speeding. I was really late getting to school. But the cone was a little too close to the road.

I've seen it just now, rated your photo and put up my comment. You rammed 'traffic barricade' actually, that stuff actually filled up with water to stabilize its standing position. This one really can damage you car body part. Feeling sorry for your bad day!!!

I haven't actually hit one of the cones but got very close to it. I was driving down a motorway where there were roadworks and cones marking the lanes. A lorry came along the inside lane and I had to swerve to avoid him hitting me, and nearly hit the cones instead.

We almost did 2 times in 2 days. The first day it was not a cone but has the same role it is gray black at the stand and has like a pole that is orange with stripes on it. We were driving behind a truck and I dont know if the truck cliped it or the power of it but it flew and came at us. Lucky the other line was free and my husband (who was driving) went into the other line mising it by few inches. The next night we were going to a friends house and part of the road is in some undeveloped area where there is no houses and lights. So my husband is driving 100km and sudenly not even 20 m infront there was a whole hips of them stoping a line (ususaly what that happens they have signs) so again he mised it. That can do some real damaged and I have seen it many times expecialy on highways.
