Well, I gave up my job for love (I moved from Indo to Finland about 8 months ago and now I'm unemployed). Secondly, I gave up my comfort zone for love by moving here. Thirdly, I gave up some of my independence for love (now that we're married, we have to be interdependent, not fully independent). ;-D

Wow...you did that. thats kinda tough for me. Sometimes if thats a great opportunity that could really change you life and lifestyle.. then all of a sudden you felt that you have to choose love and both of you..thats inspiring..good on yah!

THANKS, Ayou! ;-D Well, I think love is worth it and my hubby's worth it, too he he he he...You're right, though, it's a major change of life and lifestyle he he he...I have to learn everything again from zero. They have different kitchen gadgets here and I have to learn Finnish 'coz my parents-in-law don't speak much English he he he...It's been fun, though. ;-D

Well darlin' theres a lot of surprises in this world. Everything that is happening in our lives are lessons and we are free to learn a lot of thing. As long as we open our hearts to new things we will never go wrong i can tell you that.

I guess I gave up my home, country and lifelong friends to move to America and marry my husband. Wow I'd never really thought of it like that before makes it all sound dramatic. The home wasn't difficult but giving up all my possessions (almost) was hard as it was too expensive to ship everything (gives you a whole new attitude to possessions when you give them all up. Leaving my mum and friends was the hardest but we can keep in touch though not the same as seeing them regularly. My country I guess I realise now will always be coursing through my veins.

Leaving someone behind is had and i know that. For years that i go overseas for a long holiday or a trip..or needs me to work leaving 2 kids behind is not easy and i really know that. There are times that i cry in my sleep because i wonder what they are doing. And if they are okay . Sometimes the worst part of it, if they get sick and im not around to take care of them it is really hard for me as a mother.
