Do you think you would know if you are an alcoholic?

Not sure that many people would admit to it. If a person has to drink to relax, do you think they are an alcoholic whetehr or not they get drunk. If drinking is their only way to have fun, are they an alcoholic and if they drink alone, are they an alcoholic?
What do you think personally?
