Decorations Down

Nope, haven't taken my decorations down yet. Might take the ones on the door off this weekend, but I think I'll keep some of the stuff I have around the apartment out a tad longer, besides the way I decorated it, it's like a blending of both Halloween and Thanksgiving themes...like my corneacopia filled with fruit and leaves (fake) and miniature pumpkins and guords.

Hi Terry, We are taking all of our Hallowe'en decorations down today :( So sad to see them all go! We had our Thanksgiving here in Canada October 8th, so nothing to decorate for until Christmas! We will probably start putting up the Christmas stuff either the first or second week of December. We won't be here for Christmas though so probably no tree! Have a good weekend! The halloween decorations in my apartment at school are still up. We only put them up a few days before Halloween, so them still being up doesn't bother me. We probably will not do any thanksgiving decorating around the apartment. Just isn't our style, well mine really since I'm pretty much the one that does those sorts of things. I do plan however to decorate for Christmas.

Our pumpkins are still on the table outside on our porch and my son doesn't want me to move them LOL so they will stay there for a little while!

You are so funny...I didn't put any decorations up for halloween..I didn't even buy a pumpkin this year...I don't think I have any for thanksgiving...Not much of a decorater I guess...LOL..Maybe my grandson will make me a turkey on paper and I can hang that up...

Hi, halloween decorations were put away yesterday, with the exception of pumpkins and fall foliage. That will be put away the day after Thanksgiving and then the Christmas decorations will start coming out the weekend after Thanksgiving.

I took them down today. It wasnt' much, just some stuff on the door. I'm gonna get supplies and have my son make some fall decorations for Thanksgiving. I'm also going to start working on some Christmas/Yule decorations. I'm gonna try to get him to do a turkey for the front door as well.

The only decorations I put up are for Christmas and I will probably put them up the day after Thanksgiving. While everybody is out shopping..
