Looking for information on squirrels

I have a very big tree right outside my kitchen, and this past spring I had a family of squirrels living in it, an adult and 3 babies. The babies moved on to other trees, neighborhoods, or whereever. The adult stuck around and became friendly enough to take peanuts from our hands. However, now that Fall is here and Winter is coming, there are now 3 young squirrels hanging around. My question is, do they come back to where they were born? Or does anyone know of a good website with this type of information, I have been surfing this morning, but can't find any answer to that question.
