This is a several parts series on Death and Life. Please PONDER the answers to these life questions, and then give your answers to the two questions. thanks!:-) #1 Have you ever come to the point in your thinking that if you die today in an accident (not that we're asking for it), you will be going to heaven? #2 Imagine yourself at the gates of heaven and God asked you, "(your name), why would I let you into my heaven?", what would you say?

Good discussion - thank you, spoiled. ANSWER 1;- I am not looking for heaven, I am looking for God. Because only good but insincere person need that heaven. How about if good do not provide heaven?. Does it mean that we no longer love God. So heaven is not my priority but only for God. The one love. ANSWER 2:- Do you ask your friend when your friend come to visit you at home, such as "For what you are coming here, my friend?". Definitely not, isn't it, once friend. You will just say spontaneously say; "Oh...come in...come in...come in...I am happy for your coming, thank you?". So I want to be friend to my God so that no more questions ask in my next life world. Friendship is the faculty of natural power.

I would be accepted in "heaven"; and I would pray unto God: "My, dear Heavenly Father, thank Thee for Thou loving care and the many eternal blessings Thou has bestowed upon me inspite of my unworthiness. I am a good and faithful servant, thought imperfect, who has endured to the end of mortal life, and am seeking entry into Thou kingdom home which Ye has prepared for me. It is with humble humility I respectfully request admission unto Thy kingdom. I beseech Thee to allow me to return home in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

that is a very good prayer, robert. very humble. by the way, we have to pray for God's forgiveness and accept Jesus in our lives before we die robert. do you know about that? :-)

I never think that I would go to heaven or hell. Maybe just a handful of dust in the universe. Energy transformation makes us exist in another form. Human wants can be met in any way in such paradise. We're friendly to anyone with forever smile. The reason why I wanna take part in is that I am eager to get peace--no wars, no blood, no homeless refugees;to be brave--no crimes, no killings, no tears;to be myself--no pretence, no selfishness, no cheat. We are happy, healthy, full all the time. That's life.

hi pink! have you considered this--what if heaven and hell are true, would you do something to avoid going to hell and make sure of having a place in heaven?

wouldn't you like to go to heaven in that case?

No, I just do be myself whatever where should I go, heaven or hell. Person who hides his or her real personality, but pretending to be Man of God is actually a whited sepulchre.

To answer your first question, I hope that I lived as much of a good and honest life that I can get to heaven. According to what I'm supposed to believe, were stuck in purgatory until we are truly ready to enter the gates of heaven. Your second question makes me think a bit. I'd let him know that I've had faith in him and I have tried to live a life that is honest and respectful. I have faults and haven't always been the best at living in a good example but I had tried...If that makes any sense.

I've had faith in him and I have tried to live a life that is honest and respectful... but do you know buffy that only saving faith can get us to heaven? that is, faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ? then our good works follow because of our love and gratitude for Him? :-)

Hi spoiled, 1. it's not the things, which are bad, it's the way we think about them, I could go to hell and think it's heaven and vice versa... 2. "You would let me in for following reasons: First, as you know, there is nowhere else to go, as there is no hell, this was a man-made concept, lots of us fell for on earth. Heaven and Hell is like light and darkness... If you have a tiny house in the middle of a desert, darkest night outside and you light a candle inside... what happens when you open all windows and doors? Does the overwhelming darkness flood your tiny house? No! your little candle lights up the path to your house and someone in the far distance still can see your candle burning. This means, that wherever there is light, darkness ceases to exist. As a matter of fact: darkness is only the ABSENSE of light, as evil is the absense of goodness and Hell is the absense of Heaven. So, if you believe in your heaven, you know, there is no foundation for the existence of Hell, only if you are not bright enough (your light, that is...) And second, as God, you know my weaknesses, as I know the weaknesses of my children. Before they were born, I knew already, they will lie to me, they will cheat, they will do a great deal of nasty things, as a part of gaining experiences. Would I condemn them? And if, then when? Before they actually commit their "crimes" - might as well, because they'll do them anyway. Or do I wait until after they've done it, and "punish" them then? I think, we were all rewarded and punished enough where we come from, so will you let me in now, because I get cold feet out here. Let's sit down and have a "Father - Son" talk, I have sooo many questions, I would like to ask you. You can send me to Hell after, if you have to, but that would mean, you are not so all-forgiving as I always have been told on my little blue planet. Hey, Spoilt,... C U when we get there :-)

#1 I don't think I will come in heaven because I don't believe in heaven #2 "Rasmus, why would I let you into my heaven?" Rasmus: " You should let me into your heaven, not because im big, not because fast, not because i'm smart, not because I have spent a life believing on you, but beacuse you are a foregiver, because you have made me to what I am, because you believe in charity. I will lay my soul in your hands.' Quite some good quistions spoiled :D

I don’t believe in the concept of heaven and hell, hence no question of meeting God or Satan. My firm belief is that here on earth we create our own little heaven or hell and we face the consequences of our actions on this earth itself before we die. It’s not that you can go on hurting people while being alive, yet escape the consequences of your actions forever or keep it on hold till after your die. Similarly, your good actions will endear people to you in this life itself, you wont have to wait for it in your afterlife.

I don’t believe in the concept of heaven and hell, hence no question of meeting God or Satan. but what if God and Satan are real and heaven and hell really exists? have you ever thought about this sudip? Similarly, your good actions will endear people to you in this life itself, you wont have to wait for it in your afterlife. you are right in this...but what of the concept of the afterlife? what if there is really an afterlife?

hi sudip! what if, heaven forbid, that something happens to you before you are 50. don't you think that we should take our spirituality more seriously now?
• India

Well this is now going into the realms of spirituality, engaging in which is a full-time occupation. I don’t have time for it now but since I take the pursuit of spirituality very seriously, I intend to indulge in it later in life, maybe after 50 when I would be less occupied with the family (hopefully!). Being a Hindu by birth, the concept of afterlife is ingrained in the very existence of my culture. Pure Hinduism is monotheist by belief with karma and soul as the twin pillars interconnected to each other and linked to the universe. So there definitely is afterlife and rebirth but its complete understanding requires years of study and attention.

I dont need to ask myself and think why cause this is all wishful myths that amount to no reality ok...................heaven or hell dont exist........these are fables invented so people liek you can follow em all..............instead of living your life for the sake of "eternity" that doesnt exist..........why not live your life for today..............instead of worrying about going to such nebolous nonexistant place

1.) Of course I would go to heaven, everyone goes there to face judgement right? 2.) Hey there God. How are you doing? I come to you today to ask you to take a look at my life. I ask you to judge me fairly as you are the only one who has walked in my footsteps as I have begged others to do before they judge me. If you find that I have been a worthy follower even after the times that I have been forsaken by others that you sent to protect me, please let me in so that I may finally meet those who will love me and truly protect me in my new life here in your heaven.

1. Meh, I don't believe in a Heaven or Hell, so the first question is moot for me. When we die we simply go back into nature's life cycle; it's not depressing, just realistic ;) 2. If asked why I deserved a place in Heaven, I'd make my case out to be I was an overall morally right person. Being human, I'm sure I erred for the "right" path a number of times but overall I feel like I've been morally straight person or at worst, an average person.
