When I turned 35 I was so depressed because in my mind, 1/2 of my life was over! Boy was I wrong. I am now 43 and loving my life. I have one child out of high school, one in high school, one in middle school and one in elementary school. My days are getting freer and easier as life goes on. My kids are growing into wonderful teens. I can see that they will be accomplished adults. It isn't that life begins at 40, but a new dimension of life begins at 40.

Let me tell you. I have better skin now than I did in my 20's. Parting is not as often, but much more fun than in my 20's. As for the nice figure. It takes alot of work ,but you can keep your figure if you exercise regularly. I know when I was 20, if I wanted to drop 5 pounds it wasn't a problem. Once I hit 40, it takes a lot more work to drop that 5 pounds. Live life to its fullest and don't worry about the future!

I am 49 years of age. When I turned 40 I had a party at a restuarant. I remember still feeling energetic & healthy at 40. I worked full time. I was socialising a fair bit. Basicly, nothing changed when I turned 40.
