Today is Guy Fawkes day! I'm not from Britain, but I've always admired the holiday. Did you know today's the day the "Ronbots" (aka Ron Paul supporters) release...the BOMB? The money bomb that is. If you don't know what a moneybomb is -- though I'm sure some of you do know -- it's a scheme to have a certain amount of donations in a single day..usually in the millions. Ron Paul so far has earned over 2 million dollars...and there's five and a half hours remaining for more supporters to donate. I'm not advertizing, but if you're interested in more information just google "This November Fifth" This SHOULD be a huge move for publicity for Mr Paul. To my knowledge, CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post has covered this so far...mainstream news. The mentionings are usually brief, but this is somewhat hopeful. It's an inch more than this presidential candidate had at least.. And though I know it's still unlikely that this guy'll get elected, this effort really restores my faith in the human race lol. So..guys, any thoughts? Any ronbots out there to give a shout?

Well, I must confess I don't know a thing about Guy Fawkes day, but I know and like ron paul. I've been saying all along if and when he doesn't get the republican nomination, he should drop his hat in the ring as an independant. He is uniquly poised to do very well as an independant in the general election, there are a great number of people from the 2 main parties, dems and reps alike that have been supporting him. It's going to be a very interesting election next year.

I think that in the end, it won't be the amount of money he can raise, but the re-establishment of a backbone of the people in our country who have allowed themselves to be coerced into anything by our supposed "leaders" as pawns in their games, for far too long. I am hopeful that enough people have become so sick of working/doing FOR the government (while they grind up our rights and our citizens like dog meat in their twisted agendas) that they will WAKE UP and STAND UP (for a change) for what is RIGHT.

I'm hoping for the same thing too. I really hope that's what happens when all's said and done.

According to the Situation Box on CNN about 4 hours ago, Dr. Paul had brought in over 2.5 million dollars since midnight. Hard telling what that is up to now. I guess ghosts have money, Mr. Hannity...

Lol...yeah I couldn't help but laugh at CNN when I first saw the coverage. "Supposedly" earned the money. "Won't really know til the end of the year"..total BS. Mostly because there are records on this kind of thing. And I even emailed them and told them what total BS it was.._ Pledges my a$$.

I just read this morning on a blog post that this effort brought in over 7 million dollars the highest any candidate has ever raised in the shortest amount of time. It's about time the word gets out, since "mainstream" mainly wants to focus on their typical rep. or dem. candidates. Go, Ron Paul.

Right, the supporters earned up 4.2 million dollars in a single day, adding it onto what he already had earned recently himself making up 7 million dollars. What's funny is, the media's insinuating that Mr Paul's a terrorist because the money bomb was scheduled for Guy Fawkes day. But anyone knowing a little history of the holiday knows that Guy Fawkes plot was never really about blowing up a building, though that was what he almost did..it was about an idea. About freedom. I suppose nobody in the media ever saw V for Vendetta.._ Problem other than that with their theory is..Ron Paul wasn't the one who came up with the idea for a money bomb. It was his fans and supporters, who came up with the idea, orchestrated it, collected the money and then donated it to him. But I agree, it's awesome. And more Money bombs are being planned!
