hmmm this is a difficult one, now I am not religious so this is my very own thoughts, I do believe I am spiritual so here goes, my thoughts only...I believe my soul is the one part of me that will go on after I die, I think it is part of us that we don't really understand as yet, spirit hmmm this is the hard part, I believe we all have spirits to guide us through out worldly lives, maybe our souls are deep within and when we die our souls become spirits to guide others...I guess it is all an unknown area we will just have to wait for the real answer...just my thoughts.

In brief, man is of three parts (1 Thes. 5:23):
a (physical) body,
a (psychological) soul, and
a (spiritual) spirit.
Watchman Nee's "Spiritual Man" gives a detail discussion on this matter, check it out at www.ministrybooks.org/watchman-nee-books.cfm
Chapter 5 of the "Economy of God" by Witness Lee gives a good insight on this matter, check it out at www.ministrybooks.org/witness-lee-books.cfm

Man is of three parts: body, soul, and spirit.
The body is the physical body, belonging to the physiological level, contacts the things of the material realm, and is the superficial part.
The soul is the mental faculty, belonging to the psychological level, contacts the things of the mental realm, and is a deeper part.
The spirit is the spiritual organ, belonging to the spiritual realm, contacts the things of God, and is the deepest part.
For problems of the body, one may see a doctor.
For problems of the mind, one may visit a psychologist.
But only God can solve the problems in our spirit.

Depends on defintion. I usually think its the same thing, and other culutres take it this way as well. But in one scenario, I've thought of having the spirit which everyone else knows as the entity Theprogamer. Along with this is the soul that is eternal. Unfortunately with this, it seems that the spirit entity is lost with each cycle through the mortal body/realm. Its either loss or repressed so well that the next spirit/entity can barely access it. I do feel that something like this is possible due to dreams, mind-body problems, mind-soul perception, mental perceptions in general, varying degrees of thought/growth tied to nature/nurture/and the intangible.
Excellent discussion Humble.
