Flight Delays

I am not a fan of flying. I do it strictly to cut travel time. How many times have you been on a plane when they made an accouncement there would be a delay and you sat on the runway for an hour or more? I took a 2 hr. flight once and we had a delay because there was a sudden ice storm and the wings needed to be de-iced. I wanted off the flight but that wasn't going to happen. Was told no and keep seated. By the time I got to my destination I was a major basketcase.
