aqua dots recalled

well my son asked for that toy aqua dots. SO of course I ran to toys r us and picked up the whole aqua dot machine and put it away for christmas. I just read online that the whole aqua dot line of toys was recalled. The Factory in china, Instead of using the recommended safe glue on the beads used a cheaper method which is toxic. These beads have put two kids into a coma. How can a company cut cornors which they know can be hazardous to our children? It's terrible. The article also mentioned that if you have aqua dots please return them to the store on which they were purchased and you will be refunded. If your child own this toy please take it off of them right away as they are at risk

This was on my daughter's Christmas list also. I didn't buy it yet. I think if I already owned it and my child was of the recommended age, I would let her keep it - only using it when supervised. I guess now I will take it off her list - I most likely couldn't get it anyway. She wants plenty of other things, too.

Yeah I heard that many toys that come from China has this reputation already. That is making the image of China bad to international community nowadays. Even in my country products coming from China became the focus of inspection after the US started recalling products coming from China for fear of having unsafe ingredientsin the toys, food, and even textiles.

We have the recall of Bindees which I think may be the same thing they are the small beads that you spray water on and the magicly glue together and you make really cool things with it....... I have a Big Collection of them too.....
