If you have long hair... then better have it cut short to lessen the hair fall... but if the problem persist... these are the possible reasons why your hair is falling... 1. Stress from work, family, school, or any kind of stress... 2. Mercury poisoning... if you are fond of eating fish... then there is a possibility that there is more mercury in your body than it should be... 3. Change shampoo... shift to organic shampoo rather than the regular one...

Better start with discerning the factors that caused hair fall. And they are about diet, psychology and improper treatment. It is perfectly normal to lose some strands of hair everyday. 40-50 strands a day is normal. And if you are on dieting, it does lead to hair loss. But if you stop dieting and are eating well again, you should not have a problem. Seafood is excellent for hair, so if you enjoy fish, eat it regularly. Hair fall caused due to stress and definitely will reduce once stress levels come down. Look after your hair and your health, eat well, exercise and generally lead a healthy lifestyle, and your hair loss will subside. If you have started balding, the hair may not grow back in the bald sections. For hair physical treatment, I suggest you use and apply any AMLA OIL in the night and wash with the shampoo while morning bathing. It will reduce any hair loss. Your live in Malaysia, AMLA locally known as "BUAH MELAKA" so it is available at major sundry shops or supermarket or hypermarket. ("MINYAK BUAH MELAKA")

Hi plumwish. Thanks for your nice come-in. About AMLA OIL you can surf this web source link; http://www.garrysun.com/amlaoil.html It is available also at Indian Sundry Shop. But must bear in mind, if hair loss due to kidney failure there will be no remedy unless has to cure the kidney failure at first place. Jawa language name it as "mloko OR kemloko". HAPPY DAPPY.

maybe you need to take more vitimins and rinse your hair fromm all the saop too. Dont worry about the boys teasing your hair, Just make it a little shorter too, so it is not too heavy then to fall out. good luck dear.

I'd take more vitamin A, C and E. There could be a deficiency going on causing the hair loss (and possibly nail loss/damage). Its also possible some mercury poisoning is happening especially if there is a heavy fish diet involved. Heavy chemical shampoos might be causing it, switch brands. It could also be stress.

For me, my hair loss problem was due to stress. I took up yoga and learnt how to mediate to relieve my stress. I also changed jobs. The problem is not as bad as before now.

I am much older than you are but I have also had hair fall problems. I asked dermatologists, GP's and my gynecologist, but nobody came with any answers. Then a few months ago, they discovered that I had thyroid problems and they are blaming the hair fall on that! I thought about it and wondered why the other doctors had not discovered my problem before and I came to the conclusion that all the doctors I visited had less hair than I did and as I have thick, dark, hair, maybe they did not see what I was complaining about! So I would suggest you have your thyroid gland checked, just to see whether that is to blame for your hair loss.
