About 4 years ago on a rainy day i accidentally dropped my mobile phone in a puddle of water. It only took me a moment to pick it up,but that was enough for it to stop working. It wouldnt even switch on or anything.I kept trying for about 2 months after that day(while i of course had a new mobile in the meantime). Two days ago i came across the phone while looking for something in my room and i decided to throw it away.At the last minute i thought:'hey why dont i try to charge it?got nothing to lose'.So i plug in the charger and WOW the indicator comes on that the phone is charging.Four-five hours later the phone was fully charged and i was able to turn it on!!!OMG I THOUGHT,its a miracle!I put in a sim card and works like new!! So can electrical appliances come back from the dead?Have you had any similar experiences?

I dropped my old cell phone in the washing machine not once, but TWICE. I took it apart and let it dry completely. I helped it alone with a hair drier. Once it dried completely it worked just fine. Another example, my daughter's old walker plays music. One day I got it wet and it no longer worked. About a week later she banged on the top of the toy and it started to plat music. I think that battery operated electronics can come back to life after a short contact with water, but not extended.
