Bed matress sizes

Does anyone know if a Double bed is the same size as a Full bed or the same size as a Queen bed?

HI there.. Let me tell u, there's no difference between a double bed and a full bed.. But the queen bed is much bigger than a full bed/double bed.. Its almost 1.5 times the size of a full bed...

i think double bed is the same size as a full.queen is smaller than double bed.

To me a double seems to be almost the same as a Queen, but they claim it isn't. So I to have began to wonder. If your looking for size I believe it's safe to go with a Calif. King. Supposedly the largest non custom mattress.

A double bed is definitely smaller than a Queen Bed. I am not sure what a full bed is? It is not a term used in Australia.

dear sedel, a double bed is a full bed, that i know for sure. a queen bed is a lot bigger and takes queen size linen.
