My daughter just turned 4 but last year for her b-day I bought her a V-smile game system. They have some that are pretty cheap compared to other game systems and their games are fun and educational. My daughter still has her's and both her and my oldest daughter love is. Otherwise anything Diego like his animal rescue tree house set. As for the 9-10 year old, my neighbors son is 11 and I guess bionicles are the thing now...its like a pimped out transformer.

I don't have gift suggestions, but i have an idea for Christmas moring: take a pair of large boots, get soot and ash all over them and stamp them in the fireplace, so it looks like santa really came. my parents did this for me whn i was young, and it really thrilled me. :]

For the 3 yr old, there is so many new not a toy ideas out there. The VSmile is a interesting item that will teach him so many things, plus for his birthday you can get him a VSmile tv learning system. These two items goes together, he can use the software with each of these items. Then there's the leapster, like with the VSmile. He will be able to learn his letters, numbers, etc. For your 9 and 10 year old, what about a game system that they can share but have there own games. If that doesn't work, maybe there own portable game systems. Target has the PSP on sale for 169.99, along with 5 free movies the day after Thanksgiving. With that, they can play games, watch movies, listen to music, etc. You can also have them write down 5 things that they want for Christmas. Have them put them in order of which is a Oh My God, your the best mom for getting this, to oh thanks mom, lol. Then you can if it's priceable, to take the bottom 3 or 2 and put them in there stockings. Just make sure that the top 1 is from you, then the 2nd is from Santa only if they still believe. Have fun watching them write out there wish lists.
