Do You Have A Nightstand Beside Your Bed?

I usually assume that everyone does. Since I can not function well without one. Right now, the one that I use is more like a dresser, because it has three drawers and is much taller than my bed. I have way more than the funiture law allows you to keep in a nightstand. My roommate has a nice normal nightstand, with only a few odds and ends in there. Whereas, I have three huge junk drawers. They contain every thing from office supplies, to hair supplies, to mail , to books I have or want to read. I think I have a couple of old citrus fruits in the back of one, ha, just kidding, LOL. I have a very sensitive nose and that smell would knock me out cold. So, if you have a nightstand next to your bad, what do you keep in it?

Yeah, I have a bedside table. It has 3 drawers. These are full of my underwear and some baby things. On top are baby wipes, a few pieces of I don't know what lol, and my lamp.

I don't have a night stand next to my bed, I have a Chester drawer, it has everything in it. It is very huge, I keep my socks in one drawer, underwear in another, scarfves in one. Tee/shirts, pjs, in another one.

They do come in handy and you can certainly keep some of your life together! lol. The amount of rubbish growing on mine is scary though!

You are right, they do come in handy and whoever invented them had a really good idea.

Awwwww, that sounds like comfortable living to me. You probably shouldn't try to clean it up either, he might have a fit.

We have two night stands, one on each side of the bed. Each has three drawers. They are normal sized nightstands, though. We keep our pyjamas, and a few other odds and ends in them.

It is nice to have one on each side of the bed. That is the way I want my room to be when I get married.

I have a normal 2 drawer one. I have my lamp, alarm clock, and hair ties on top. I keep junk of all kinds in the bottom drawer and I keep importiant things like vet records, birth certificates, SS cards, money, and such in the top drawer. Then I know where it is and dont have to hunt for it when I need it.

There is no room at the top of my nightstand for a lamp or anything else. I have my printer on top of my nightstand and it is right next to my computer desk. Behind the head of my bed, I have a microwave cart of sorts. It holds my stereo, my alarm clock and a lamp.

I would not be able to function without a nightstand either! I aways have my glasses, a glass of water, my alarm clock and anything I might need close by in the middle of the night on it!

I know exactly what you mean. For most women it is needed.

I wish I did. The floor seems to be my nightstand for now LOL I have a few books, magazines, bottle of water and a few other nicknacks there so far. We haven't quite finished doing up my sons room so until that is done, then the next step is to do our room, maybe 2009? LOL

I have a little shelf that has my radio, a couple stuffies and my Petey's picture on it that I talk to every night. It's covered with his little blanket and it's very special to me. Someday I may decide to buy regular nightstands but for now it's fine. "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS" **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I don't think nightstands are popular in my country. For me, I don't have any nightstand. I have what you have - more like a dresser with drawers. I use the drawers as normally storage space. But I do put things I need daily on top so it serves as well as my nightstand. =)

My husband and I have a king size bed, but we only have one nightstand and it really bothers me. It's not symmetrical! The bed we have to go into our new house only has one nightstnad too. I don't know what I'll do because I can't buy another because the suit we got has been discontinued. Grrrr! Anyway, I keep a lamp and an alarm clock on our nightstand, candles, and a few stuffed animals that my husband has bought me. Inside I mainly use for book and CD storage.

Well, I guess one is better than none. Most men don't really need a night stand, but it would be nice to have one on both sides. Maybe you can use that one for something else and then purchase another set.

I have a bedside table beside my bed. I keep underwear and socks in mine and on top a lamp and a clock radio I couldn't be without. I like being able to see the time when I wake up during the night.
