I just checked out a link here on mylot. It took me to a place where you can send away for a kit to trace your ancestry through DNA. Would you ever be interested enough to take a DNA test to find out your origins? http://www.dnaancestryproject.com/?ovmtc=content&ovadid=5260358511

I would love to! Of course I'd want to go back to the very beginning of my family tree - you know - somewhere on the planet Vulcan. It would also be nice to recreate, at least with CGI, what my ancestors looked like. Just so I know what they lived like in their respective times. Hold on...my great ancestor Grog would like to say something - "GROG!" (B.C. comic strip)

I am certain your greatest ancestors had great and massive brow and forehead to match with the steepest of slope. ARGA UUL!!! (I have no idea what that means or where it came from. It just felt right.) ;)

Hi loralee, Like the previous poster, I know the basic wheres. Mother's side as far back as I know are French Canadians. My father's side are from Poland. It would be awesome to dig much deeper though. You have given me renewed interest into delving back into my family's ancestry. ‹(°¿°)›

I doubt I'd bother with something like that. I already know all the basic "wheres" and would rather spend my time and/or money to find out the "whos".. The only way I would do it was if we were to discover that there still was a big abandoned estate in Wales from the late 1700's just waiting for a blood heir to claim it. Not that there would be any DNA to compare but something like that would make it worth it!
