Yesterday I had quite a scare. I was watching the news at my parents house when I saw my house on the screen for just a secound. They were then talking about a big fire and people beeing taken to the hospital. My ex called me a minute later, he had also seen it and got scared for me. I told him i was at my parents house bt he was close by so I asked him to check it out and see how bad it was. he called back in 20 minutes and said that it was the house behind mine that had caught fire and that the firedepartment had it under control. Noone was badly hurt but I feel very sorry for the people who lost their home and at the same time lucky that I still have mine... It was scary!!!

That was luck indeed, thank God you are not hurt and you did not loose your home like your neighbours. I can see how scared you were in the first view of the breaking news. You even start counting your losses before you get to the scene. I can also see the relief you got when you were informed that it was not your house that was burning...........its called mixed feelings.

You are a really considerate person and maybe thats why you are lucky. Keep doing the good work you are doing. Pray for them.

I had the same scare too. But not about the some fire and a house. There was a bombing almost a month ago in our place, and my cousin and younger brother saw someone who looked like me being brought in a wheel chair. They were the ones who got scared since I got phone calls from friends and relatives regarding that.
