I will be honest and I will appreciate if you would be too. I have read all of the books at least twice. I like them very much and I like the story so I reread them all the time. I think I read the third one (Prisoner of Azkaban) about 7 times and the fift book - 4 times. I am currently reading the second one (fourth time). Do you guys read the books all over again?

I read the first 3 books one right after the other. Then, while I was waiting for the 4th book to be released, I reread 1-3 at least twice. Waiting for book #5 I read 1-4 at least a dozen times. Waiting for #6 I read 1-5 6 or 7 times. Waiting for book #7 I reread 1-6 2 or 3 times. After I read the final book, I reread 5 through 7 again. So yeah, I've read and reread the entire series... a lot.

I've read all but the last one several times trying to pick up all the details I missed the first few times. I only read the last one once because as soon as I finished it I sent it to my son in Oregon so that he could read it too. When I get it back I'm sure I'll read it again, or maybe start and read the whole series through again. No one ever gets all they can get out of reading a book only once -- although there are some books that don't merit rereadings.

I'm currently working on rereading Deathly Hallows... which will make my third time for that book. The early books I've read probably 10 times each at least. I read quickly, so I usually read a new book and then put it down for a week or two and then read it again to catch things I missed the first time. And if I really like a book or series of books, I might read them as often as every few months. I've had a lot of people envy how quickly I can read, but honestly I wish I could take things slower so that books would last me longer. I just get carried away and then before I know it the book is over, and I'm just like "What do I do now?" So I've reread almost every book I own anyway, at least once or twice.

Wow I am impressed you have read Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban 7 times??? You must know the story inside out! The only Harry Potter book I have read more than once is the latest film The Order of the Phoenix, the big tome! The largest of all the Harry Potter books, it takes me ages to read a book, and since I got the internet I don't read much at all. It is very rare to read a book again, I usually buy them or borrow them from the library then give them back and read something else. But Harry Potter is definitely worth reading again and again and again, as they provide great fantasy and enable you to escape from reality for a while!

I reread Order of the Phoenix right before the movie came out but learned that was a big mistake. I like the movies, but when I saw the movie so soon after reading the book I saw all the glaring errors in the movie. I am sure the other movies had them, but this was noticeable because I reread the book. I may reread some of the older books, but I don't plan on reading the Half Blood Prince until well after the movie comes out next year.

Yes, I've read all of them, and reread all of them. I couldn't tell you how many times I've read the first five, but, it's over five times! I've read the six one at least three times, and I actually just finished rereading the seventh one about a week ago. I just love the books so fun, and you get so much more pleasure out of reading the books then you do watching the movies. I prefer to use my imagination and there's so many more details.

Yes, all of them except number 7. Everytime I was waiting for a new one to come out I started re-reading all the other books. I'm sure I will read number 7 several times too, just have to find the time and finish all the other books I want to read.

I have read each one I think 4 times each. My children have probably read them more than that. They are great books for kids (or adults) with a great imagination

I've re-read all of them and I'm working my way through the entire series now. It's neat having every book to simply transition into when I'm done with the previous one. I've lost count of the number of times I've read the first two but I think that Deathly Hallows holds the record for fewest reads (currently two, soon to be three).

After each new one would come out, I'd reread the whole series. Thus, I've read the first few many many times. At least 9 or 10. The last few, from 1 (deathly hallows) to 5 or so (order of the phoenix).

Ever since I've read the first Harry Potter book, I've been hooked ever since! I loved how JK Rowling can introduce a world that was imaginary and describe it as if it was real. How she intertwined a magical world with the real world is just amazing! Elements of fantasy is perfectly blended with lives of people that are really relatable. This is probably why Harry Potter is just overwhelmingly successful. Although I've finished the entire series, there's no denying that I have been rereading them every once in a while. I just love the way it entertains and moves me.
