special friend in mylot

aside from the person who referred you to mylot, have you found a special friend in this site?
i have found one and i don't know if it's proper to reveal her name here (i don't know her real name too). i consider her as a special friend already. we're oceans apart and we have a different culture and race. she will always respond to my discussions, even send private messages. i know she's a mother too, so maybe that's why we have a common ground to speak of. i consider her responses to discussions written professionally. she's writing articles in another site too.
you know who you are i am speaking of. your user id starts with 'b'.lol

I got one too. Got same characteristics as yours. I will always make her as my friend. And her name started with 'G'. She is good in every single things! I love her so much!

I am glad that I do have such friends who always respond to my discussions.
I would like to take this opportunity to thanks them. Of course, in return I do post responses to their discussions. Yeah, people with common ground could always become much closer as they could express their thinking, feeling and view more relevant to the point. I hope everyone here could find their good friends, get more joy and learn more knowledge from each other.

I have lots of friends here whom I treat as special and admire, some of them has left and disappeared on this site while others are still here and particiapting actively.
Mylot is indeed a good site to establish good friendship here, it bridges the gap in language and distance. Aside from interacting with them in REAL time, we also get to learn more from what they are and where they come from..

I do have a special friend here on myLot. She started this discussion! LOL I have met one other person on this site that I also PM with. It's funny, both of the people that I have made a connection with live in different countries. I love to hear about the different ways we do things, yet in most ways we are so much alike.

What a cute conversation. With great anticipation, I raced through every reply looking for the one whose user id starts with "b" to see who your special friend was.
Yes, it is inevitable on a social networking program as fine as myLot that people will make many casual friends but that one or two will stand out above the rest in compatibility. The interesting thing is that our special myLot friends may have many things in common, but they also might have characteristics or habits that would discourage a friendship had we met off line. For example, in "real life" I avoid making friends with people who smoke, because I do not like to smell this in the air while conversing. Here, I am sure many friends smoke, and certainly at least one of my most special myLot friends does. But here, you see, it does not matter.

hi drannhh! you're right. there may be things that we don't know yet about our friends here in mylot in order to consider them special. one may say that it's best to know the person personally first before considering them as special. but we have friends in person too, special or close friends that we see often or everyday, who have so much difference in characteristics than we expect but still are special to us, right? and i guess that's where our being a true friend is tested. a true firend is not only for good times and good things. true and special friends are those who are with you through thick and thin. i have special friends who smoke, but i'm not ashamed to tell them not to when we talk with each other.
with 'B', i find her nice to talk to. she has professionalism that i can see or read in her responses and discussions.
you see, i'm starting of considering you as one too.
